it's not as if i'm actually technically bad at math -- i made it to precalculus, and scored well enough on the math section of the SAT to test out of it in college. i'm just not innately good at it, and it requires an insane amount of focus and attention. as a result, i completely and utterly loathe numbers. when numbers relate to money, i absolutely revile their whole concept. i don't grok. i get tempted to just make art out of the numbers, just like bernard.
